I am 20 years old and have just been introduced to the wonders of tea.
I met a boy a little while back at a bar and he brought me to his home for green tea, music and conversation. It was quite lovely and I took to green tea. I have a sweet tooth, so I have started adding honey to it. Anyone else do the same?
I also just got a job at a fair trade café. When I work I get all the tea or coffee I want for free (I'm not a big drinker of either). I tried a honey lemon tea the other day and was less than impressed. For some reason, I never thought about adding sugar or anything to it. Until I did. Whoa. So amazing! Reminds me of that Weezer song that goes; "Hear me? Hear me! I want sugar in my tea!". I'm so excited to go back to work and experiment some more!
Just thought I would share.
Oh and happy Canada Day to any Canadians out there.
I just placed an order with Adagio Tea
, and they're letting me send $5 gift certificates to anyone who hasn't ordered from them before. If you're interested, leave a comment with your email - I'll screen them, so they don't get picked up by spambots. ^_^ Cheers!
(x-posted a few places to share the love)
ok, so we all know you love tea, but do you eat something with your tea? like biscuits or cookies or what?
do you ever have tea parties or tea time?
i've had biscuits with my tea, i don't like them very much. they remind me of baby cookies most of the time. i've had crumpets, those aren't too shabby. never really had anything else with my tea besides normal food.
my buddies and i have tea parties sometimes. we break out my friends tiny beauty and the beast tea set and have a good time. never been to a formal one though. how about you folk?
mhmmm.... that's all for now ladies and gents.
be post whores!
haha it sucks, i didn't know what to write in it... but live with it suckas! now go off and promote!
PS i don't know how to attach an html to it.....
this community is pretty much KAPUT.
i think it needs some promoting or something........ who the hells in charge yo??
Just for the record, if you get mono or just have some random unbelievably painful swelling of your tonsils, tea is a really good idea. It's quite soothing as long as it's not too citrus-y. Green tea with jasmine is doing wonders for me.
TEA IS THE BEST.
i drink at least two huge cups a day.
it makes me a better person!! *tears up* lol
yeah, this community is rather slow so i thought i'd post.
oh yeah and it's my first post here.

amymh5: Tea Time
ahhh, teaaa. My favorite is English Breakfast cause you can have it with every meal, and then every hour in between. I used to put a lot of sugar in it, but I realized that if anyone who had as much as I did would probably get diabetes. So less sugar. ALSO, green tea is just so fabulous when you're sick...and chinese tea is so wonderful to have at chinese restaurants with your chinese food....and earl grey tea is sooo glorious to have when you're feeling grey. AH, I mean, tea is obviously life (SOO much better than coffee, which has horrid side-effects)--the dilemma is just what brand of life you'll choose to live.
i love tea. i'm pretty much addicted, i started drinking tea when i was about 10 or so at family gatherings. all the adults were doing it so it seemed like the thing to do. i used to put like 10 sugars in it in addition to honey, but not anymore (obviously) and now i can't live without ginger peach tea
O sweet heavenly tea without you this day would have started totally wrong. after being keep up all night by snoring, coughing, tossing, relations at a min. family reunion a piping hot cup of Bigelow's green tea /w honey a pinch of Cinnamon and a drop of orange extract really makes it all better.
